Overview
Botanical Five is a packaging collection developed for a range of five functional herbal infusions, each created around a distinct combination of botanicals and wellness benefits.
The objective was to transform multiple individual products into a recognizable family—one that could communicate variety without losing consistency.
Through a shared visual structure, color-coded navigation, botanical imagery, and a clear information hierarchy, the collection brings five different blends together under one cohesive packaging language.
The Challenge
Designing a multi-SKU herbal tea range requires a careful balance between consistency and differentiation.
Each blend needed to communicate its own ingredients, flavor character, and functional purpose at a glance, while still being immediately recognizable as part of the same brand family.
With botanical ingredients, bilingual information, functional claims, preparation instructions, and product details all competing for attention, another key challenge was establishing a hierarchy that could make the packaging feel informative without becoming visually overwhelming.
The system also needed enough flexibility to support future additions to the range.
Design Strategy
We approached the collection as a unified packaging architecture rather than five separate designs.
A consistent structural grid defines the location of the brand mark, product category, blend name, functional benefit, ingredient imagery, and supporting information across every SKU.
Within this framework, each blend is given its own distinctive color and botanical composition.
The result is a system where consumers can quickly recognize both the brand family and the individual product.
