Overview
Ferdowsi is a specialty coffee packaging collection inspired by the Shahnameh, Iran’s national epic. Each blend is represented by an iconic Iranian hero, connecting coffee culture with mythology, storytelling, and Persian visual heritage.
The Challenge
The challenge was to translate the powerful identity of the Shahnameh into packaging that feels culturally authentic while remaining contemporary, premium, and appealing to an international audience.
Design Approach
Each package features a distinctive color palette, heroic character illustration, and roast profile inspired by the personality and story of its legendary figure. Persian architectural details, ornamental frames, and gold accents create a cohesive yet individually recognizable collection.
Brand Experience
The packaging transforms every coffee blend into a chapter of an Iranian legend. From the strength of Rostam to the wisdom of Zal, each product invites customers to discover the values, emotions, and cultural identity behind the heroes of the Shahnameh.
